Information is here systematized on policies, programs and actions in the public sector in social housing, during the Pinochet (period 1980-1989) Aylwin (1990-1994) and Frei Ruiz-Tagle (1994-1995) administrations. To the general comments on each administration, global comments are added on the period using comparative charts and graphs to illustrate the formulation of policies and programs, adjustments and specific statements. The period covers the genesis, evolution and present state of the Housing Policy in Chile.
