A crime of one’s own. Critical analysis of the foundations of the law of femicide

Abstract

Despite the stated rationale for creating the crime of femicide, the legally protected is not the victim called "woman", but an institution that absorbs her and goes beyond, namely the family, particularly that which is called "the family order". The aim of this work is to reveal what they are, from a critical perspective, political and ethical implications of the creation of the special offense of femicide, mainly considering the arguments of feminism and post-feminism.
