Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present the results of a research carried out with the purpose of knowing the effects of two situational interventions of Recovery of Public Spaces to promote crime prevention in Chile, specifically in the commune of Tomé. This study was financed by the Ministry of the Interior and Public Security of Chile. As part of the research methodology a fieldwork study was conducted, in which the direct beneficiaries of the project were asked about their opinion regarding the "Situational project' developed near their homes.
